No School. No Lunch.

No School Means No Lunch for Some Children

The Summer Break is an exciting time for many children, but for some kids, the summer break brings anxiety as they wonder where their next meal will come from. Many of us are fortunate to have the means to provide, but for some, public schools provide meals that a child needs to develop. This summer make it a point to give to your local food pantry so kids can be kids and not worry about their next meal. LongIslandTeachers.org, NYSUT Teachers! Teacher leaders in the community.
